“I have practiced Hatha Yoga for over seven years with Kim and would highly recommend her for both one-to-one teaching and for group teaching.
She is quite a special teacher … very understanding about personal limitations, yet also extremely encouraging and positive.
Kim has a lovely manner, a super sense of fun and an obvious love of Yoga.
Her classes are enjoyable, well planned and designed to reach everyone’s potential.”

“Kim, thank you so much for such a wonderful weekend. I can’t tell you how great it was… so relaxing, I really couldn’t fault it – such a beautiful location, great classes and lovely people – and the food was delicious. I have come away feeling really refreshed and it really allowed me the time and space to reflect on how great life is and how lucky I am! All I can say is I will remember it as really special weekend, my only request is that you do another one soon!
Lots of love from both Rohan and I and hope see you again very soon. x

Emma, London

“I’ve really enjoyed the classes and am very pleased I joined.  I feel much better for them and am obviously very relaxed as I always seem to sleep very well on a Monday night.  I also meant to say how impressed I am that you gave the surplus money for the autumn term to charity.  It’s very generous of you to give up your evenings for us for nothing.”

Neil, Reading

“I look forward to my yoga sessions and find them really beneficial.  The benefits of the practice are amazing for me and it is enjoyable too!  Kim is, as the website name suggests, Kalm and kind!  Plus she has a lovely sense of humour :-)”

Claire, Sulhamstead

“I have been doing Yoga with Kim for about a year now – I attend her classes as well as have some 1-2-1 sessions with her. I find all her sessions extremely beneficial. She really understands the spirit of yoga and encourages you to find what’s right for you rather than judging yourself by other’s standards. Although I’ve been doing Yoga for several years, I have found that my stamina and stances have improved greatly since I joined the classes. I would highly recommend her sessions.”

Priya, Whitchurch

After trying and abandoning many different kinds of yoga over the years I thought I knew how to do it. I asked Kim for 1:1’s to see if she could help me scrape off the rust. Actually I have learnt with Kim new effective techniques that are kind and beneficial to my (now older) body’s needs. Amidst laughter and kindness I have rekindled my love of yoga. Thank you Kim.”

I really enjoyed last night at Tidmarsh and will definitely be back next week. You’ll have to let me know how I get that breathing chant that you played last night. I thought it was just so relaxing and it keeps going around in my head.”

Anne, Upper Basildon

“Having lost my way over the last few years due to moving house several times, I knew I wanted to get back into a daily yoga routine but lacked the confidence.  Kim has filled me with enthusiasm and her sense of humour has made this a fun experience as well.  She has also helped me to accept my body for what it is today and not to be upset about what I used to be able to do and can’t do any more – a valuable life lesson.  Thank you Kim, I’m so glad I met you.”

Claire, Reading

“As an older woman, starting yoga might have been daunting experience but Kim immediately put me at my ease. She really is an excellent teacher. I feel more toned, agile and calm since practising yoga with Kim and have benefited greatly from the breathing and meditation techniques too. I really look forward to my Saturday class.”
Maggie, Newbury

“Kim’s Yoga class on a Saturday morning are a joy! Kim is a natural teacher who exudes calm, patience and humour while she ensures we work to our own strengths and abilities, combining he physical exercises of yoga with yogic breathing and meditation techniques. I have found Kim’s classes to be the most informative, welcoming and uplifting experience.”
Gemma, Newbury

“I gain huge benefit from the meditation and relaxation part of Kim’s class – for me its a way of “letting go”, unwinding physically and mentally, and setting me up for the rest of the week. There is no pressure to attain certain postures, but instead, encouragement to go at ones own pace. I find myself really looking forward to my weekly session with Kim, who is always very supportive and makes the art of learning yoga so enjoyable.”

Christy, Reading

“One of the things I particularly like about Kim’s Yoga is the way breathing is incorporated throughout the whole class. I also enjoy the flowing sequences we do, and the build up through the terms to more difficult asanas.
The approach is fun and sensitive, it is aptly called Kalm and Kind Yoga.
We are are a group of mixed ages and experience, with stiffnesses and problems, and we go home feeling better.it is a great antidote to sitting, driving, gardening and ageing!”
